Our Whiskey Story
The Patty Green Whiskey Distillers project emerged in response to the catastrophic 2020 harvest in the Willamette Valley, where a series of megafires devastated the region, resulting in significant smoke taint that affected local wine production. From the ashes and smoke… whiskey emerged.
Our Process
Starting in May 2021, we began sourcing heritage barley and rye from local farms, which were distilled and blended with the brandy to create a hybrid whiskey. This spirit is aged in repurposed French oak barrels, renewed for optimal aging, with additional use of Oregon oak barrels tailored for whiskey.
